Post COVID Tour(13Night / 14 Days)

DAY 01 (Airport – Dambulla)

Welcome at the Airport and undergo a Mandatory PCR test.
You will meet the driver/guide at the Airport lobby and you will be greeted with “AYUBOWAN” instead of shaking hands. Thereafter you will receive the Welcome Pack which will consist of the following –
• Travel Itinerary
• Welcome Letter with the important contact details
• Hand Sanitizers (50 ML per person)
• Disposable Face Masks
• Safety guideline leaflet

**Driver/guide will undergo a PCR test 96 hours prior to start of the tour. The tour vehicle will be deep cleaned and disinfected before the arrival.

Thereafter proceed to the hotel for check-in. (150 KM / 4hr. 30 min.)

NOTE: – It is mandatory that you remain in your room until PCR test results are received. Hotel will endeavor to provide meals to your rooms until such time.

DAY 02 (Dambulla)

NOTE: If PCR tests are negative (results to be expected between 24-48h), you could continue the tour. If positive, tour party will be connected with Health authorities who will decide the next steps depending on your/ tour parties symptoms.

DAY 03 (Dambulla)

After breakfast visit Dambulla Cave temple.

NOTE: The driver guide will check your temperature and record it based on the guidelines we have received from the Sri Lanka Tourism Board. He will also undergo a Self-check on same.

Scenic Tour of Dambulla Golden Cave Temple (Duration of visit: approx 1 – 1 ½ Hours if approved at time of visit)
Designated as a world heritage site, the Dambulla Temple is located on a gigantic rock towering more than 160 m above the surrounding area. The Rock itself is more than 1.5 km around its base and summit is at 550 km. The caves on this rock were the refuge of King Walagamba’s when he was in exile for 14 years and feature a mixture of religious and worldly paintings and sculptures. Several reclining Buddha’s which includes the 15 meter long sculpture of the dying Buddha.

DAY 04 (Dambulla – Sigiriya – Dambulla)

After breakfast climb Sigiriya rock fortress.

NOTE 1: The driver guide will check your temperature and record it based on the guidelines we have received from the Sri Lanka Tourism Board. He will also undergo a Self-check on same.

NOTE 2: Site visits will be done based on time slots assigned by the Government and are subject to change. We will endeavor to arrange best possible time slots within the schedule provided. It is mandatory that clients adhere to health and safety guidelines at sites. (Example – wearing masks, maintaining 1.5-meter distance etc, use of sanitizer/washing hands)

Sigiriya Rock Fortress (Duration of visit: approx. 3 – 3 ½ Hours)
Sigiriya Located a few hours’ drive from Colombo, Sigiriya is a magnificent rock fortress built in the 5th century A.D. This majestic Citadel in the sky was the refuge of King Kasyapa and is world-renowned for its Mirror Wall’, which consists of poems and paragraphs carved by some of the thousands of visitors who visited the rock many years ago, and for its magnificent frescoes, similar to the Ajantha frescoes of India.

DAY 05 (Dambulla – Kaudulla- Dambulla)

After breakfast morning at leisure.

NOTE: The driver guide will check your temperature and record it based on the guidelines we have received from the Sri Lanka Tourism Board. The vehicle will be fully disinfected and you can travel safely on the safari.

Kaudulla National Park Sri Lanka has over 26 national parks and going on a safari is a popular activity during a usual Sri Lanka Route. Kaudulla National Park is one of the best national parks to spot Elephants in Sri Lanka. It is home to 200+ elephants, monkeys, crocodiles, and even a handful of leopards. The park has opened in 2002, is surrounded by grasslands and can be visited year-round to see elephants and other great wildlife. See why this is the best national park in Sri Lanka.

Return to the hotel.

DAY 06 (Dambulla – Kandy)

After breakfast proceed to Kandy. (90 KM/ 3h)
NOTE: The driver guide will check your temperature and record it based on the guidelines we have received from the Sri Lanka Tourism Board. He will also undergo a Self-check on same.
Thereafter visit the Temple of Tooth Relic and Peradeniya Botanical gardens.
Kandy Temple (Duration of visit: approx. 1 ½ – 2 Hours)
The Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a temple in the city of Kandy in Sri Lanka. It was built within the royal palace complex which houses the only surviving relic of Buddha, a tooth, which is venerated by Buddhists. The relic has played an important role in local politics since ancient times; it’s believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country, which caused the ancient kings to protect it with great effort. Kandy was the capital of the Sinhalese Kings from 1592 to 1815, fortified by the terrain of the mountains and the difficult approach. The city is a world heritage site declared by UNESCO, in partly due to the temple.
Royal Botanical Gardens (Duration of visit: approx. 1 ½ – 2 Hours)
The history of the Royal Botanical Gardens dates as far back as 1371 when King Wickramabahu III ascended the throne and kept court at Peradeniya near Mahaweli Ganga. Later, in the reign of King Kirti Sri Rajasinghe from 1747 to 1780 this was made a Royal Garden and from 1780 – 1798 King Rajadhi Rajasinghe resided therein, where a temporary residence was erected for him.

DAY 07 (Kandy – Beach (Galle))

After breakfast pick up from hotel and proceed to Galle for beach stay. (180 KM / 4h 30m)
NOTE: A second PCR test will be conducted between 5-7 days at the hotel.
(Based on the PCR test results, if negative you can stay at the hotel until your departure, if positive you will be quarantined or transferred to a private hospital depending on the decision of the Health Officer)

DAY 08-13 (Beach Stay)

After breakfast day at leisure.
Note: A 3rd PCR test will be conducted between Day 10 and 12 (48 hours prior to departure).

After breakfast, departure to the airport for your international flight.
