Day 1 Arrival – Kandy

Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon the arrival at the Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly received by our representative from Crystal Holidays. You will be escorted to your vehicle and transferred to to the vibrant city of Kandy, the last Kingdom of Sri Lanka.

Kandy is an example of Buddhism’s influence in Sri Lanka today. Temples, shrines and monasteries keep Buddhist traditions alive. It was the last capital of the ancient kings’ era of Sri Lanka. The city lies in the midst of hills in the Kandy plateau, which crosses an area of tropical plantations. It was declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1988.

 

In the evening visit the Kandy Temple of the Tooth
Relic of Buddha the most important place of
worship for Buddhists world over. Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic  is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka.
And witness a Cultural Show by traditional Kandyan Dancers and Drummers including “Fire Walking”.
A unique show of Sri Lankan Traditional dances accompanied by Ceremonial drums and drum orchestra will perform. As well as energetic acrobatic performances where the men perform a series of leaping pirouettes and stunts such as plate-spinning and the dramatic ‘fire walk’ which ends the show.Overnight stay in Kandy

 

Day 2 Kandy

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Victoria Golf Club for a session of Golf play. The cool climate makes this the perfect location to get lost in your game of golf, far away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

After the Golf session return back to the hotel and relax.

Victoria Golf Club is Sri Lanka’s newest International Golf Course. The 6890 yd. Par 73 Championship Course features a host of memorable golf holes. Designed by Donald Steel, the renowned British Golf Architect, the layout has taken full advantage of an extremely gifted site with its rolling terrain, superb views of the Victoria Reservoir, the Knuckles Range and the majestic forest trees through which the course has been skillfully routed. The greens, tees and fairways have been planted with imported varieties of Bermuda grass and the greens are built to the specifications if the United States Golf association.

Day 3 Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, leave for Nuwara Eliya is one of the most scenic city & Little England of Sri Lanka

En route visit a Tea Factory and a Plantation to witness the manufacturing process of the world famous “Ceylon Tea” and to taste a pure un-blended cupof factory fresh tea. Also pass by eye-catching views with waterfalls

Transfer to Nuwara Eliya Golf Club for a session of Golf play amongst the misty hills of Sri Lanka. The surrounding landscapes are extremely beautiful making your game a satisfying and relaxing experience.

The Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, founded in 1889, is one of the oldest golf clubs in Asia and probably the world. It is an institution, rich in tradition, history and carries an ambience unparalleled in this country. The 18-hole course, 6399 yards long, is a testing par 71 and is made up of long, narrow fairways, bordered by rows of towering eucalyptus trees and elegant cypresses, held together by dense acacia shrubbery. Good positional play is must for a positive outcome and the course terrain, with its succession of undulating dales and hills, and the many water hazards, confronts the serious golfer with a series of stimulating challenges. Yet, despite its natural difficulties, it also caters to both the casual golfer and the enthusiastic amateur

Day 4 Nuwara Eliya – Hambantota

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Hambantota(Driver return to Colombo)

Day 2 Colombo – Pinnawala – Kandy

After breakfast transferred to the vibrant city of Kandy, the last Kingdom of Sri Lanka.

En route visit Pinnawala Elephant orphanage where you may see baby jumbos wandering around their cramped foster home or bottle fed and bathed by their human foster fathers. Visitors are completely enamored at feeding time when the younger babies are bottle fed with enormousamounts of infant formula, which they guzzle down in a few seconds.

After breakfast you will be driven Nuwara Eliya is one of the most sceniccity & Little England of Sri Lanka

En route you will witness Tea Factories and Plantations.Visit to a Tea Factory, demonstrating how the raw leafy green is converted into the familiar dark brown product through a drying process, cutting, rolling and fermentation. At the factory, you will also learn to”taste” the tea and to try to identify subtle differences of flavor.Evening drive thru the Gregory lake and short city tour in Nuwara-eliya town.

Day 5 Nuwara Eliya
